Met zijn internationale ensemble, S’yo Fang Group, wil S’yo complexe emoties van mensen vertalen in een sound die zowel vintage als modern is. S’yo neemt met zijn ensemble een unieke plaats in met muziek die een mix is van muziekgenres, van moderne klassieke muziek tot jazz. S’yo is geboren in Taiwan, waar hij aan the National Taiwan Normal University klassieke piano studeerde. In Nederland studeerde hij jazz piano en compositieleer aan het Koninklijke Conservatorium in Den Haag en aan het Rotterdam Conservatorium.
In 2019 verwierf S’yo the Sonic Award Nomination by ISJAC (International Society Jazz Arranger & Composer).
